About AnitaNH

AnitaNH is a self-taught collage artist and former librarian who embraced mid-life crisis, dropped out of the corporate world and moved to rural New Hampshire to become creatively self-employed. Owner of Anita's Beads and Toad Hollow Minerals in Wakefield, New Hampshire, Anita also designs jewelry, fabric, and digital art prints. Original collage art and acrylic paintings are displayed in the gallery. Jewelry-making and collage instruction are offered by appointment.

Hours Change

Anita’s Beads is now back to regular hours:

Open 10:00-4:00 / Closed: Tuesday & Wednesday.

Winter Hours in Effect

Anita’s Beads will be on winter hours from December through March. We are open from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Important Update!

Please be aware that Anita’s Beads is currently unable to accept credit cards for payment due to technical issues that our telephone provider does not seem capable of solving in any permanent fashion up to this point.

We hope to be able to resume processing credit cards in the future but in the short term, we are only able to accept payments in cash. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It’s that time of year when we’re beginning to order beads in preparation for the summer season! Stop in and see our beautiful selection of new size 8/0 Miyuki Japanese seed beads.

Closed on Easter Sunday

Anita’s Beads will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20th. Have a wonderful holiday everyone!! And don’t forget, our regular hours resume next month. Open 10-4; closed Tuesday and Wednesday beginning May 1st.

Winter Hours at Anita’s Beads

We’re now on winter hours from January through the end of April. Open 10-4 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
